Pom’s Pickup No. 1 – Brad Johnson (WBD)
This guy is an absoulute superstar – last year he averaged 100 points per round with a minimum of 78 points and a maximum of 146-but has fallen a huge amount due to the fact that he has been playing injured for the majority of the season. Having said this he is still, after 7 rounds of footy, averaging 80 which actually isn’t that bad anyway. But-give this guy two weeks of rest to recover to 100% and he will be back and will easily claw that average back up to the high 90s by the end of the season. I would probably recommend this trade even if BJ was at about $380,000-but here’s the best bit! Due to his high starting price he has fallen $116,400 in value meaning that you can pick up one of the star forwards in DT for a mere $318,900!!! ABSOULUTE BARGAIN!!!! He will come good – the question is how do get out? Possibly one of your rookies beginning to peak (Cyril Rioli etc)?
Interestingly enough the last time Bulldogs played Freo he scored a massive 126 points…..do you want anymore proof????

Made the switch Rioli – Johnson
Possibly made it a little too early….
Great call. He has hit rock bottom and the rest will having over the injury (you would hope). Unfortuately, with the trouble the Hall and my backs have caused, I have used to many trades and will have to fix up the back line first and my fwds aren’t too bad (wish I still had Hall out on the park though instead of being forced to trade him)!
Keep up the good work.
